Hello

I really need some advice regarding an engine swap
ATM I have a TR manual V6 magna wagon and a KR auto V6 sedan. What I am planning to do is to swap the engines and transmissions over. I know (or think I know) that the Manual drive shafts are slightly stronger (different size's) and because of this, I have to swap the drive shafts and things around as well.

I’m stuck on a few things and need some advice form some one who has done this swap before.

The wiring- can I use the auto computer to run the manual motor? (will I have to wire it, so the computer thinks its in park or neutral. And if so, how do you do this )

The wiring- do I need to change the computer (auto and manual have different fuel mapping will this effect the motor much)

Mounting the different shift leavers and cables- can you bolt on the various cable brackets or is it a chop>swap>weld job?

Clutch pedal- do I have to cut holes in the firewall or is it a bolt in?

Any other advice that that might help would be really appreciated!!!

Thanks

i think the auto ecu can be used but you do have to ground the park/neutral wire (i think)
the ecu is a learning type so it will adjust so doesnt matter.
the shifters will unbolt auto bolt manual. you will need to get the manual black surround for the centre console arount the shifter. what normally says p,r,n,d etc. but you already have it from the manual.
