as the title says im looking for anyone with info on how to pull off the front door pannels out of a TH Exec, i can remove most of it but the window roller seems to be the only thing stopping me from taking it off, any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

these things are a pain in the *** to remove unless you have the right tool
cant remember what its called but its a flat bit of metal with a cut out on the top that you put between the window winder and door panel
you need to push the two bits that stick up outwards so you can take the window winder off
you local audio shop or panel beater should be able to help you

you can use a piece of cloth and go between and slowly slide in and out till the circlip comes off. Not too difficult 4 mins job or so.

Yup use a cloth not too thick and squeeze it in between to get it out in a saw fashion but becareful not to,loose the clips.

i cant see why its such a pain i just did some work on my back to doors and u can use pliers or even a screw driver just make sure u catch the clip and when ur puttin the door back on put the clip on the winder and then just give it a moderate thump with ur hand to pop back on i also moved the winder for driver door around coz the handel sits wright on the bone in my nee and it tends to go knumb but other then that i think the is 2 screws 1 in handel and the other in arm rest and you pop out bottom and slide upwards

Yeah the c clip, i used a screwdriver with a rag, basically just inserted it between the rubber and the handle itself and jiggled it around a little, eventually it popped off.

Removing the door trims is tricky but i found once i did it once it was heaps easier to do it again.

And the speaker grilles don't actually detach from the trims AFAIK, just mask up.

This might help...

They are easy to do once you know how, I can get mine off in under a minute nowadays.

Beware, the clip behind the window handle flies away easily... watch it when you take it off otherwise you'll lose it.

Peace

Tim
