im looking at performing some upgrades to the golfs handleing, as it has been lowered by the previous owner, and tends to pitch and bounce over bumps. Ive got a price on a set of adjustible Koni Yellows (specials). Has anyone used these shocks?
If you have, are they hard to get set up right?
Is it worth $800 for the front pair and 400 for the rear pair when KYB's can be had for half that price?

I use Koni yellows in the fronts, they are not too bad, but i've had them set at a slower rebound rate. If I had the second chance I would probably hit the KYB's because I really don't do that much spirited driving anymore and I hardly set them any higher so the extra cost is down the drain and talking about it just means you have a large e-penis.
Since you've got a Golf you have way many more choices. Look into stuff like Bilstens too. The GTI's handle perfectly out of the shop, I'd say the lowering job was botched. You really need to talk to the guys owning Golf's and see what they've done/
