i have a tm auto for sale it was run for 3 weeks after recoing it from a wrecking yard, all the seals are brand new and it has had a fresh service+filters ect, it is all clean and neat , the only reason it came out was because i manualised the car, ( cheap one came up ) i spent $900 on getting and recoing this box and i am after $200 if anybody wants it, there will be the selector+cables, starter motor and some wiring, alternator , 1 headlight , 2 indicaters and a gregorys service manual for that price all you will need to do is get it posted, I live in Emerald qld and may be able to get it dropped off in the cq area call 49877659 if you would like more info

Jerry,

http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/announcement.php?f=13

Not sure where to begin with regard to what's wrong with your post... Seems you've ignored / defeated pretty much every rule that exists for this type of thread (including the fact it's off-topic for the given forum). The item has also merely only been serviced - not reconditioned (not that I'm denying it works well - simply that you've misrepresented it) ;-)

I grant you that your post doesn't really classify as spam - it's more that it represents a flagrant disregard for the forum rules, which were developed for some pretty good reasons :-)

If we didn't have such rules, we'd have the scope for being able to do things like me pointing out how I have a perfectly good TM/N transmission sitting here (in Brisbane) for no more than half the price of yours (which is advertised as per the guidelines referenced above in the For Sale / Wanted section). Hell - I'd probably part with entire vehicle (sans engine and wheels) for $200. The rules are there to stop that kind of thing from happening, though...

Anyhoo... Thanks for coming by and disrespecting our forum / club. Hope your short stay is an enjoyable one :-)

Cheers,
Mattt.

thanks mattt , didnt see that before i posted , sorry , please have this post removed , i am truly sorry for upsetting u guys, hopefully that will make all involved happy . as i said , i was only interested in helping somebody out as i hate to see perfectly good stuff go to waste, not to worry ill just throw the stuff away .

also just while we are on the topic not that i profess to know all that mechanics do but , take your car in for an auto service , you will have the oil changed ,filters replaced and maybe your bands inspected / adjusted, and kickdown if necc. As i state reco/rebuilt whatever you may want to call it (i took the box in by itself as i had tried to install 2 others straight out of doner cars only to have them not work), seals which wont be done on service as the cv shafts need to come out , as well as valve body + other components , bands ect, replaced in a basically pull down and rebuild situation is not what you would get in a service (for the record)

so the fact i have done wrong , fine , but there is no need to try and knock the gear
neway doesnt matter , have somebody remove the thread, again ,sorry for ruffling feathers:)
