Hi guys, there's a TS V6si on E-Bay, going cheap. (Owner says will consider any offer above $1500)

It's got 272,000km and is auto. I was toying with the idea of getting it and converting it to manual. I know this topic has been covered before - and some members around here have actually successfully done the conversion - but are there any recommendation places around Brisbane that will do the conversion, and how much $$$ should I allow for the process, including parts and labour?

muzza_oz did it to his rada, i rkn you'd have an easier time getting it done for a 2nd gen, maybe even some members would help out. I wouldn't mind lending a hand although i've only had my g/box out once.

(Yes I have heard and read about a few 2nd gen owners successfully doing the manual gearbox conversion - No doubt it would be easier than doing the same to a 3rd gen, I would say)......but just after prices, if anybody has any indication

just ring and ask mate. All they can do is give you an estimate or say no. Just mention they might need an autoelectrician to ground a few wires...

i rang rang around and one guy qouted me around $700 (guy who did choongas). this is supply and fit...so im very happy with that price.
