Was just lookin through the tech articles on the website and noticed the gearknob change procedure. My question is, that although the end result looks good, the proccess seems really really bodgey. Is there any other way to install a gearknob, i.e, not cutting the gear pin etc?
And also, are putting replacment pedals (some nice silver ones :D ) possible on third generation magnas?

u dont have 2 cut the gear pin...if u want the knob to sit lower you do...but other wise itl b fine.
yah...most pedals just sorta clip around the stock pedal...screw 2gether...i know cheap ones do as my commo came with em!

with the pedals - they do just stick over the top of the existing ones. you just have to make sure that when you screw the pedals together (depending on what sort of pedals they are)- that the screw that is being tightened doesnt obstruct the action of the accelerator behind the pedal.. this happened in my TR as it was hitting the little part to the right of the accelerator, isnt really the firewall - just the part below the fusebox. could be an isolated thing that just happened to me, worth checking it anyway... good luck :)
