Hi all this is my first post on this forum so I am a total noob here and hoping you guys might have some mechanical wizards here. I'm about to do some repairs to my V6 TS which will most likely include a motor replacement. My question is can I upgrade the motor from a 3.0 to a 3.5 without too much trouble or this a major conversion?
Also I'm from the Gold Coast so does anyone know of a good mechanic up here that won't rip me off.

Anythings possible with alot of money, but in short, no, the motors from the 3rd gen magnas will not fit your TS.
This has been covered quite a number of times so if you use the search feature of this forum, you'll be able to find alot more information regarding engine conversions. Look into a DOHC option.

Yeah, going to a motor from the 3rd gens (late 96-onwards) wont fit as the motor is facing 180degrees the wrong way.
Click here (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13303) and have a look at the dohc swap. i believe it takes power up to around 150-160kwatw
