So yesterday i bit the bullet and ordered some mags. Its jst finally hit me that modifying a car is an expensive hobby, but if all it means is not eating for a few months, then its all good  the reason i chose these is they have a really nice sized dish. i know i cant go toooooooo big on a magna, but a little never hurt anyone.

These are the mags, 18" RJR Tremors. i had my heart set on these mags in 19" but 'apparently' they wont fit. im no professional, and all the people i know that go through bobjane have only good things to say, so i cant argue. Sorry that the pic is sh!te, but hopefully the next one will be them on my car ^_^

Was quoted roughly $1700 for silver, and $2100 for chrome. $400 difference... luckily id prefer the silver. Bottom Right on the catalog. If u can get a bigger pic, plz post it. Cheers.

EDIT: My car is Silver with chrome edges around the windows.

They may mean that there is no suitable offset for the 19" size and it been wider would
protrude the wheel arch.

thats the one. apparently its coz of the slight dish they have....apparently. my mate who lives across from me has a guard roller, so im gonna get that done now for free anyways, incase in the future i get bigger rims.

its all about thinking ahead

Rolling the guard will not enable you to fit wider tyres. It creates more vertical room
between the tyres and the guards but not lateral room. You will need to flare the guards
(making it stick out more) and not many places do them.

But to have ur guards rolled gives u more room above ur tire correct? so when u turn, and ur car leans into ur suspension, the wheel wont rub against the metal. So basically, if a bigger rim was fitted, and you were to turn deep into a corner, you shouldnt have wheel contact with ur guard.

Isnt that the deal with guard rolling? Im unsure, but thats the idea i was goin on. Plz dont flame lol

Guard rolling is usually required because the suspension is also lowered with fitting of wider
wheels and tyres so that the outer edge of the tyre face lines up with the guards and
hence when car fully loaded or going over bumps, the tyres may scrape the guards.

It is a legal requirement that no part of the tyre shall protrude the guard so flaring the
guards help keep the tyres within the guards.

When you go wider wheels and tyres, what usually happens is that the offset is reduced
to maintain the same distance between the inside of the wheel/tyre and suspension and
hence pushing more the of the wheel and tyre outwards. This also increases track and it
cannot be changed by more than 1" (0.5" each side) each way. And by increasing the
track, the suspension geometry is altered, putting more stress on it. Also, for the front
wheels, it causes the tyres to rub the splash guards when full locking during turning as
effectively, you've increased the radius of the turn (for turning and also for suspension
travel and is why it'll hit the guards, if also lowered).

Hope the above is not too confusing. Its getting too late and I can't keep my eyes open.

I was looking at the same rims, but i dont think they would look good on a white car. On a silver one i reckon theyd look the goods.
