well im having slight problems, yesterday just after i finish the wiring for my amp, we decided to the hook the system up to my mates car. we plug the s/w (sub woofer) preamp rca to the amp, but we pretty much got no sinal coming out. it was the same when we pluged the thing into front speaker preamp. the only way we can get the sb working is to plug it into the rear speaker preamp.
i have a panansonic 7303u. can anyone shed some light, why no signal is coming is coming out of the s/w, well there is slight but very minute, could it be the h/u or the amp

How do you know there is no signal coming out of it?
Have you hooked up the remote wire to the amps? have you tried the same amp but with the different pre-outs or just swapped rca outs on the amp that doesn't work?

There are DB controls for the Sub on the HU..
make sure it is set to Db 0
also make sure that the amp has the correct input selected.. (ie if its a 4ch 2ch)
or is it a monoblock?
make sure you have wired the sub to the correct outputs on the amp.. as that could also be ur problem...
also check the Amp's earth connection

lol... there are also a cpl of inbuilt filter settings (shouldn't affect SUB RCA thou)
make sure the DB setting is OK on the HU for the Sub
otherwise it could be that the SUB RCA is cactus
other than that i would need the HU to test it..
