unsure as yet. i will be dynoing before the extractors and after, so that will give people some insight.
but i think its about 20% if not more. so if u have 100kw at the wheels. then u might be able to grab 110-115kw after.
please someone correct me if im wrong

Travdude your mathematics needs some serious work!
20% of 100= 10 to 15??????????

we are about to redyno my car with teh race headers to see the comparison between street headers and race headers.
This extractors are probably only a few kw by themselves - but if you have some form of CAI (or even a K&N Panel filter) and a muffler change - tehn these mods really go hand in hand

A couple of kW may not sound like much but percentage wise over the previous design, that's pretty good. There's always a chance that they may not go as well or pull similar figures due to ambient conditions. Good luck. I just hope they are test fitted to a 3.0l real soon. Any news on a donor? After this mornings effort, I need 'em!

Gentlemen - I dare to disagree. Headers only can make more diff than only few kW. But as u said, depends on car and also other breathing mods.
Magna std exhaust manifold is pretty pathetic, so any racing headers would give some 5-10 kw extra.
Ok, shoot me if I'm wrong.
Then again - don't. 8)

You're right. You just happened to take my quote out of context. I'm saying a coupla kW difference between the old and new designs. I'm hoping for a 10HP gain and anymore and I'll be stoked. I'll dyno before and after.
They have to work wonders, the factory ones suck!
excelet well ive got a panel and a muffler so im really looking forward to getting these extractors hopefully make a bit more difference in the low end :)

the race tuned length will make a little difference in teh low end - but more is felt in the top end ;)

Ahh - I did too, didn't read it carefully. I blame my self being too tired.
As long as you don't use lead bullets - I get skin rash out of them...

Hrmmm well any power what so ever would be appreciated hehe i spose its going to increase power through the whole rev range.
be nice to get some more power in the bottom of the rev range tho, not quite sure how to so it as yet
oversized throttle body maybe?

-I'm hoping for up to 15 with a UNIchip re-tune following the installation.

Chip, Headers. What else? Add muffler and CAI and u'll definately get 15 kW at the wheels, 20 on the fly.
I reckon.

I've got a fair few mods on my car. I'd love to clock 15 @ the wheels from them, that would be after a chip re-tune.

Hey Manual,
Is that 15kW ATW as dyno tested? And when you say "pod" do you mean "fancy RPW CAI from down in front of the wheel"?
