I am sitting in my car right now with my console pulled out wiring up a head unit. My tf loom has a green wire w white stripe and a black wire w yellow stripe. Anyone know what these are for. I have the wiring pdf posted on the forums and it does not say anything about these wires. Plus my loom seems to have the old coloured wires with the new single plug????????? so i dont want to go guessing what these wires are for.

Well what wires aren't hooked/matched up yet? I've got a feeling one is for the dimmer, not 100% though.

didnt hook them up and everything seems fine and is working. Just insulated the left over wires so they couldnt short and left them there. If i find out what they are and find i need them i will pull it out and hook em up.

Had my laptop in the car and was using that pdf while doing it. Problem was my wires were the old colour up to 98/99 and the plug was from the 98/99 onwards??? The wires left over were not listed on either year. So i am buggered if i know. Anyway it works so all is cool for now. Hasnt caught fire yet

what shape is the plug? newer or older shape?

If you look at the pdf it is the new plug but it has the old colour wires. Weird huh 98tf. from memory it was wires c & f. All 4 speakers are working. I am guessing it might be power antenna but i dont have one. Maybe it did. OOh i am going to look. Dont know what the other wire was. I am only guessing at the power ant as the plug position matches but the colour doesnt.
