Firstly... What kind of sound do you want from then? and how much boot space do you want to use up?
LxHxW in cm = CC volume. Then divide by 1000 to get litres.

Stick with 2 sealed enclosures, (or one large one, partitioned). About 1.3-1.5cuft should do for each.

have a read of this mate before you decide whether to go ported or sealed.......it will give you a bit of insight into it:
www.ddaudio.com/dd/caraudio/enclosureInfo/portInfo.asp
it is from the Digital Designs web site....they do prefer ported box designs, so it may be a little biased, but it will help you

In a nutshell; Generally sealed=SQ vented=SPL (but not in every case).
Sealed - gives best response, smaller enclosure volumes, will give cleanest and deep sounding bass notes. Still ok for a bit of SPL.
Vented/ported - slower response, less sub excursion, generally requires larger enclosure volumes & alot of calculating. Best point of all, gives a high dB peak over a given range in frequency (enclosures tuning frequency), but has a big dropoff in bass below that frequency. For the best sound designed for your taste, go ported... but be prepared to put the hours in, in designing/calculating and fabrication. Unless you stick to manufacturers prefab enclosure design.

Or you can simply pay an audio professional to design and build your box to specifically suit your car, amp and sub choice

sub and port displacement is how much room the port and sub take up when mounted in the box, i wouldnt concern yourself with bandpass, its another kind of box design.... just build a nice simple sealed box... simple and will sound good, your obviously not to concerned with spl and all that so ported probably isnt worth the extra hassle for ya
