ok i got a 92 TR 4cyl auto and it was idling low so i turned the idle screw up and it was fine but once its put into D the revs drop from 900rpm to 500rpm and feels like its gunna stall and then once the air con gets put on it shakes and virbrates all over the place.

duz any1 know why it would do this i have a reconed engine in there and im sure the timing and all that is ok it did it with the old engine in there aswell.

Maybe adjust your ISC and try cleaning the TPS up. See how that goes for a start. Could be a number of things.

put it into park and put on the ac. if the revs drop instead of rise its the isc. the idle speed controller.

Easy to install, but need to be set with a multimeter.

the isc does not need to be set. the tps needs a multimeter to be set.

go to mitsu. they can check the computer for error codes and they adjusted the sensors and such for me for 50 dollars. they then could tell me what was wrong when other mechanics were stumped.
