I finally got my car back yesterday, after over a thousand spent on head work and engine repair.

What has been done:

Second gen Head
Second gen cam and roller rockers
Timing chains replaced
Balance shafts deleted
Sump and pick up replaced
AFM mod
New alternator
New spark plugs/leads
80% on Brown to Grey interior swap

To do: (not in order)

Paint
Blue top injectors
Cam Regrind
Panel damage repair
Custom Boot install
Elite Mags
Better brakes
Car hands free kit
Cruise control
Custom rear lights/garnish

Anything else you guys can think off?

your cam regrind will be expensive if you plan to use the roller rockers.

How much we talking?

well to be honest, i dont think there is really a cam grind for roller rockers.

as you have a second gen head, putting sigma lifters becomes a slight problem as the valves are different lengths (still a problem with the first gen head as well, but not as bad). the adjustment needs to be wound almost to one extreme. the lifters hit the valves at an odd angle.

So yours saying running this cam with this head is bad for the head and I should buy some second gen lifters and a second gen cam, but if I do that won't I also have to replace the pistons as mine are flat on the top?
