Ok so im trading my old 94 TS SE V6 in on a new 2005 magna now here is the problem it wont idle driving it runs GREAT but when you get to stop or anything other than with ya foot on the gas even just a little i mean like 200revs more than normal it stalls i dont want to spend any money on it but is there anyway i can bring the revs up just a smig
help me bodgy this car up lol I need the most money on the trade
I was thinking I might move the accelerator cable some how
on the throttle body there should be an idle set screw, just screw it in and that will up the revs.
Did you by any chance recently unplug the battery? because it will take some time to re-learn the idle
if there is a problem with it, i wouldn't do a dodgy job. Why sell an inferior car? Would you like to buy one and then have to spend money on it right away?

i did find the speed adjusting screw and when you say it needs time to learn I had the battery out of the car for 3 hours (in a diff car) put it back and it drove no problems last night it started after being driven for like 30kms
you have a point mate so i didnt do anything just adjusted the speed adjusting screw is all and now it idles next will be a drive after the traffic has all gone home for the night
I did that with mine. Adjusted the screw until idle was at 800 in D, cause it was idling funny. Turns out i needed a new ISC. Could be your case..?
