hey all, im having some trouble finding somewhere to supply a new lower rear skirt with dual tip outlets, ive spoken to a few ppl locally (lismore) and they going with the idea of rebuilding the whole back bar in fiberglass rather than just cutting a new outlet, as they think over time if they just cut a new outlet and weld the plastic that its going to crack. So does anyone know where i could find a replacement rear bar either out of fiberglass or a VRX one with the outlet already cut. similar to what dr ego's vrx has...cheers

i just sold one mate, sorry ur too late. its not hard to get done
u can get it done by either buying to rear bars and getting some one to cut it out and stick the one on the other side.
or just buy an aftermarket bar like i did and get the hole coppied and added into the other side. cost me $450 mate.
pm me if u want details of who can do it. only problem is its in auburn
let me know
cheers

If you want a standard VRX bar to do the mods let me know, I will be pulling mine off very soon. You will more then likely have to sand it back (Unless ur car is dark green lol)... But if you want to save a few bucks I'll be happy to send ya the bar

TZABOY, will this be just the rear skirt? Or do you mean the whole rear bumper as a one-piece?

Just the middle piece. might make a start on it next week. what i can do for black VRX's is make it out of carbon fibre, any other colour might make it look kinda wrong, but its a thought

what other materials were u thinking of using? something that can be painted for anyones car would suit better i guess.

just out of fibreglass but with a white gelcoat finish which is a breeze to undercoat and spray

Sounds good... only thing I'm a bit worried about though, is with the official Mitsu bar, it has screws sticking out from the back of it to bolt onto the stock rear bar... how would yours be attached to the rear bar?
