Tonkins at Marion in SA did it a couple of weeks ago.
I didn't think that they would space it out so they could get the fascia surround on it, but I think it looks fairly neat and u dont really notice it.

looks good, probably the most pain in the ass headunit ever invented though... i just got a cda-9835 today... last years model of the 9855r (your unit) glidetouch is the stupidest, dickiest, pointless little add on ive ever seen, apart from that great features, great s/q.... can you please tell me one thing... how the hell do you get into the time alignment and eq settings menu... i was playing with one of these units in jb and i could not for the life of me find them
edit- might wanna work on getting the rest of the woodgrain bits.... looks outta place

It's an Ei so they didn't get the full woodgrain :doubt:
Sound correction - i dunno i only have the factory correction settings lol
Agreed, the glidetouch is very tricky.
Not so bad in a car that doesnt feel the bumps much, but in my Mini it was useless, except for when sitting at the lights!

The Ei has all the 'features' as such that you don't get in a standard magna, such as climate control, premium sound, cool dash, trip computer, etc. etc. the Xi only really gives you leather seats, standard sunroof and one extra peice of woodgrain (around the gear stick/cup holders)

hmm it just strikes me as odd that they just put them 2 woodgrain bits in from factory, it looks totally outta place and mismatched... oh well, add that to the list of things mitsu got wrong :P
