Ok, i want to wire up my new response 4x100 amp so that i can have a sub and my 6x9's powered off it. Im a complete noob really, i know i have to bridge it to get the sub to work but i dont even know how to do that! lol can anyone give me some tips? Oh and can anyone recomend a good 12" sub for this amp?
Cheers,
Leigh
edit: i have run power and rca's from the headunit.
your amp should have a manual that shows which channels are bridged (something like Chan 3&4 Bridged) so you run your speaker wires to your 6x9's from chan 1 & 2 and you put your positive wire from your sub to chan 3 + and the negative to chan 4 -, that way they're bridged and viloa! Done! (your amp may have a switch that needs to be flicked to run in this mode though - read the manual!!!) rather simple really..
What power does it produce on bridged mode and at what ohms? (something like 4x100wrms@4ohms or 2x100@4ohms and 1x250@2ohms stable) probably will be on the box, I'm too lazy to open the jaycar site to look for myself..
