Go to your local Auto pro, or super cheap something like that, grab a can of tint / shadow spray (one will be plenty).... Take both your lights out (avoiding overspray), place both lights together and hit em with even strokes, not too heavy thou, best to run 3 or 4 times over it to eliminate runs...allow to dry, if you think there too light hit em again :D

I used a can of "Night Shade" - well not the whole can, still got some left.
I think I have 3-4 coats. Enough to tint them without going black - you can still see the red & orange of the lights.
Also added some bright LED bulbs so when the lights & brake lights are on - you can see them well.

Some people then hit them with a clear coat - they say it looks better.
I didn't know this when I did mine, may take them off again and give them a coat of clear when I can.
