Holy... crap.... That's sweet. I would've probably gone with beige and black rather than beige and blue, but each to their own. You're driving around, adrift in a sea of suede!
:stoopid:
Let's see some exterior pics.

While the interior is definitely unique and doesn't look too bad, i can see in various spots over hang and IMO it looks like crap. You've gone to all that effort for it to be ruined by a few bits of overhang, i dunno man, just doesn't do it justice :).

I can certainly see where the "dog" is comin from, it does look on the amateur side. But in saying that sound system looks as thou it would thump ya ears into next week.
One question, how do the visors stay up with the weight of the Screens??

the sunvissor arm is really stiff, i havent had any probs with them yet. n the sound system does thump ya ears into next week, iam still waiting for next week so i can get them bak.
i know theres bits n pieces on the inside which are still ova hanging here n there, thats y the post says 90% done because iam gutting the car again so i can finsh off all the little bits in pieces n get it retinted, n i gotta install my digital tv to the dvd player, (and its schneider tv aswell) i still have alot of work to do in the boot
But thanks for your posts
Um yeah....ok....errr....**** me
Like the others said not quite polished, but dude....you've got a sweet interior. A nice white with pearl paint job with kit and you got yourself an auto salon contender.

Far out mang, that looks great, particulary the suede work. A few minor fixes to the rough edges etc and it will look perfect.

Very nice interior mate.
Like other's have said, needs some attention to detail here 'n' there but these things all take time and you did say 90%. ...and to be honest, it's a better job than I could do.
Bit too much suede for me (maybe not the dash?). But you seem to really like it and it does look the goods.
Love the audio set up, especially the custom speaker pods, etc. Rear parcel shelf looks excellent.
Oh and nice choice of Headunit (same as mine).
As for the exterior... (IMO)
- Lower it
- Fit a nice set of 18's or 19's.
- At least paint the mirrors and below the doors the same as the car.
- Otherwise if repainting the whole car and you have $$$ to spare... A well painted Pearl with maybe a hint of blue tint would look nice IMO.
...and to think you've been a member for a few years hidding in the shadows and finnally get on & show us the car. Glad you did.

Looks good, to make it the real goods get the entire car coated in mirror finish (chrome) paint, and get the windows tinted to look like mirrors.

i understand where most of u are coming from with the edges, i would love to take another weeks holidays from work n finish every thing off but work is rerally busy now and alot of the final touches i need i still have to make at work on the cnc so untill work dies down abit n it can get my parts made n holidays iam going to have to put up with it till then, which might not be too bad because i can save up a bit of money then spent it all on hopefully finishing the car off looks wise
But cheers again on your comments
I'd also invest in some clear plastic sheeting for the back seat. It will come in handy for those intimate encounters. Suede stains easy from what I understand...

colour scheme is great, what i want, would of choosen leather over suede,
car paint should be a nice deep blue and it would look so good

No offence, I agree with him.
Personally I can tell the amount of effort being poured into this baby.
But it can really be an aquired taste. Suede will require more maintainence etc.
Overall interesting.

That is one of the most disgusting things I have ever come across in my life. Sorry dude, but that is way too much for my classy taste. lol

Not something I would do myself, but still pretty impressive. I do like the speaker setup you have in the back seat on the parcel shelf. Keep us all posted on anything else you do :P

Well i havent posted on this forum for quite a long time now, since i finished my interior i have since moved to QLD with my GF, had a few jobs, worked on the house started fish keeping n working on tanks n finally ripping out that suede interior n redoing the entire cabin.
2007 saw suede seats, headliner, pillars, crappy painted carpet, 2 head units and crazy door pods, too many speakers, metallic blue console, cream dash, no boot space due to sub boxes, amps etc..... A very Hot car (temperature wise) For QLDs heat. all the fibre glass on the doors weighing them down acted as an insulator n would trap heat in the seats got dirty quite quickly and old carpet began to wear thin.

2009 Its a whole new interior, ALL BLACK: Repainted dash, console, new carpet, re trimmed pillars n headliner, black leather seats, black doors. New sound system - no subs (doesnt need them system is load enought as is) dont care if i cant be heard 2 blocks away as long as it sounds good on the inside. And to top off the whole system a brand new Pioneer AVIC-F900BT Prob the best thing i have ever bought for this car, will never need another HU ever again. My entrie music collection on one single SD card leaving the CD/DVD free for DVD's n the ipod and USB.

i like your old boot install and the new interior
much better than the old install. kudos as i was not a fan before. though the door inserts look a little rough? like when it was fit, the crinkled leather look was attempted and didnt work out? could be the photos.
and i spy the paintjob outside your passenger door is rooted :P
