The Crummydore ended up selling for $649 - more would have been better, but you can't always set the price. It goes to show how fickle eBay can be though: over 700 people viewed the auction, 23 were watching, and in the end only one person even placed a bid. Not to worry though, it's still better than nothing! And I should be able to get another $200+ for the alloy wheels which are being sold separately.
So, it looks like I have the money to pay for the first round of preventative repairs on the Magna (timing & accessory belts, water pump, seals) without needing to spend extra. I'm not sure when I'll actually get the money (the buyer is in Mildura, I'm in Goulburn, and it's for pickup), but with a bit of luck I'll have it in time to book the car in for late next week and get it all sorted. And then for the hoses... :)
