More drama's with the TF.

basically i am having, amongst other problems, an electrical one.

If the car stays put too long, eg 2-3 days it wont start. something draining the power, also difficult to turn over now & then. i dont know why, cant see any aparent reason, eg lights left on.

also the power windows wont work from time to time, none of the switches work.

the anti lock warning light has come on, and wont go away (abs not working), i think this is just crap on a sensor. i hope.

any ideas? 97 TF with 180 000kms. just recently serviced (major service).

When was the last time you changed the battery?
That's the first thing i'd get tested.

Agreed, I think it seems to be the first think that came into my mind. Is it a new battery you have there?
Change it if its not.

i dont know if its the battery. seams reasonable condition.
it wont start at all today, even when i've charged the battery using my Arlec charger.
and it wont even respond to the jump starter pack that i have.

nothing, just dead. still has interior light, stereo etc, but no ignition.

opened the relay & fuse box under the bonnet and tapped a couple of relays, and a couple of million little ants came pouring out of the relays!!

little buggers have been eating the wiring, and the car still wont start.

bring on the tow truck!

My battery I have here looks reasonable condition but it has no battery! If the battery has been a year or two, give it a change to check. no harm.
