Howdy all;
Im diong a speaker upgrade in my ts and i was wondering the best and easiest way of running speaker wire from the front doors through to an amp located in the drivers rear footwell. i had a look at the inside of the door and there is a black tube like thing that, i assume, the central looking wires run to, how does one get the wires through there with out taking it off ( cause it looks like a b!**h to get on and off)
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

you can use a "tongue" to get it through with out taking it off
all it is is some stiffer plastic that is used in tongue and groove flooring like chipboard, or some stiffer wire could also be used
just run it through and tie/tape your cable to the end and just pull it through, might take a while to get right but its how i did mine as well as other wiring, that stuff always comes in handy

Under the carpet?... Run the wire from amp to the centre consol, then run the wire under the foot pedals (Drivers side), then do the same for Passenger side. The seats have to come out (but thats as simple as removing 4 bolts. Also removal of the centre consol. By running it thru the consol your getting away from any "traffic" area in the car, n by running under the carpet you have no loose wires...Well thats how mine is done

thought that he was talking about getting the cable out of the door and into the footwell?
be never the less yeah try and keep the cable out of the main foot traffic areas, although if im not mistaken there is a small plastic shield that can hold a few extra cables where the standard loom goes? would think about putting them in there should run along the outside edge? other wise if thats not there i would definitely put them in through the console and around

Yeah definately, there is prob some extra space on it for ya wires to sit... I have the same white thing under my rear seat I have used both of these and the wires sit perfectly

yeah man there should be plenty of room in there for speaker cable, i have two 4ga cables running in mine, its rather tight but still ok, so speaker cable will be fine in there
there should be the same on the passanger side for the other speaker, if you want to run it all the way through down the side and then across the back seat and up the driver side its a long way but it would be uber neat, or just run it over through the dash, just a few ideas
