I know jack about respray costs, can anyone give me a rough idea of what i would have to pay for a th grille respray?

Your not lookin at a ridiculous amount of money, i asked my local panel guy (blackburn) for a costing on getting mirrors, side skirts and full grille done and he quoted me about $450-500 so i reckon that you'd be lookin at about 80-90 bucks if that.

i reckon best thing to do would be to pull it out, go down to 2 or 3 panel/respray shops and ask around
OR
ask all mates and someone/everyone on this forum to see if anyone local has a proper spray gun, ask nicely, borrow it and buy your own paint. gives you that sense of accomplishment doing it yourself.

TH grilles... didn't they all just come in the 1 shade of silver? :)

Small item, you could just as easily do it yourself... $10 can of touchup paint,
$10 for clearcoat (if you can be bothered), sandpaper or filler if you're really pro.


Any commercial painter around here seems to want $200 minimum
before he can be bothered to get out of bed & mix up some paint!! :badgrin:
