How the hell do I turn it on?
KH Verada with climate control... aircon works beautifully etc etc.
When I crank the temp knob all the way up to 32*c, with the little snow icon off (and also ECO off), it doesn't put out hot air.
I remember it did once, but I don't know how i did it :P
Help, i'm lost lol

Just turn the knob up mate. if you are at 32 and there is no heat then something is wrong. Stupid question but is the car warm? The heaters wont come on until the car is warm if you have it in auto mode.

Would I be right in thinking that if ambient is more than 32' then turning it to 32' on a climate control system would not heat but actually cool???:doubt:

Yeah I did think about that also, but it was on a Saturday night and it was definitely not warmer than 32.
And yep, the car was warm each time that i tried it.
****en thing... i'll have to let them know at the next service

nah just cold air out of the demister.......... if the thurmo was stuffed and not opening the car would heat up and over heat so i doubt it would be that.
we have even swapped over the climate control dash unit grrr lol.

HeaterCore:
When the heater is turned on by the driver, a diverter door opens to the heater core area in the dashboard. A small fan (commonly referred to as the a/c fan or blower) blows air across the hot heater core into the duct work of the dashboard and into the interior of your car.
When the heater core leaks (it leaks anti-freeze of course) it will usually leak inside the car on the passenger floorboard under the carpet. If your heater isn't working properly, or if you smell a sweet odor, investigate the passenger-side floorboard for signs of anti-freeze leakage. A leaking heater core may also cause a greasy film on the inside of the windows.
Not 100% sure if this applies to magna's:
My air-conditioning works but heater does not. Why is it?
Heater not working is usually caused by faulty solenoid (one of 2 on the engine firewall on the passenger side, close to the lower edge of the windscreen). To repair this condition temporarily requires swapping black rubber hoses with vacuum feeds to the faulty solenoid so that the heather is then open all the time. Of course it is then not possible to close off the heater unless the hose is disconnected manually. Such test enables identification of the faulty solenoid.

try this
add water to the heater unit
blank off one end with a hose, push into the hose a solid blank(metal or timber ) and clamp
then fit hose to other end clamp and add compressed air no more than 13 psi see if it leaks in the core.............1 psi = 6.89476 kpa
if you had a tank of water /a pool do the same emerse in water watch for bubbles
