just wanting to know if its worth it to get the para's for my 2nd gen... do they look better? and give better light? And if so, what should i be paying for them? i dunno all the details, if someone could fill me in thatd be great.

are you serious? theres no comparison in looks, and i reckon the output is the same? if not better? cant remember, you can seem to get them for roughly $200 on ebay these days + bout $30 postage. I paid $250 for mine anyway at the jap wreckers

Depends on your tastes... in most peoples opinions they look much better, but afaik, offer no light advantage over standard lights. Its purely up to you... and your waller of course. lol These things still sell for quite a few dollars... and are probably getting more & more expensive as they are becoming rarer (cars getting smashed/written off, etc).

For some reason i reckon my car would look wierd if i put parras on... i dont think they'd suit.. dunno why.. lol maybe the colour?

Hmm... parabolics on white. That's a tricky one! I jumped for my paras, love them, never looked back... its up to you! lol

hmmm, yeh then whole white thing, on second thought you dont want it to look like a panda, might look hot or not quite right, id say itd still prob look better tho

The output is the same on parras except on high beam were the parras are much better.
My TS is white and I got parras with amber indicators with the standard grill and it looks really:cool:

I just put the parras on my silver TR, looks nuts (well I reckon anyway)

No difference in light output, all depends on what bulbs you get.

hey if ur cars white u could allwayz paint paras white dunno wat it would look like but ey u can try wont hurt. if u dont like it just sand it back and repaint black :)

i wouldnt spend more than $200 not incl. postage. That's what they go for on ebay. Ebay is your friend. Good luck finding them at the wreckers.

My vote is Para's are cool and look heaps better.
So go for it (if you like them and can afford them).

Same shape as i have put on my car. Except mine look dodgy as hell.. because of broken headlight covers lol. Subtle, yet still adds an improvement to looks & cheap to diy!. OF course they'll look better on the car, than in the pic hehe.

Paras totally transform the look.
If you don't want your car to look like just "any old magna" on the road, the first step would be to get the paras.

I reckon the stock "magna" head lights are ugly and look really dated. Cept on this one of course. This fellow Taikedo from Fujisawa, in Japan actually swapped his paras for the standard base model 1991 sigma (magna) lights and had them fitted :nuts:

lol.. those in the pic are a photochop.. mine are the same as those (just imagine different colour though - champagne/rose).. theyre just painted onto headlight protectors - which are now cracked from stones being flung from trucks :rant: . But yeh.. guess i can get a pic if you're interested. I tried to follow the lines of the TS grille to keep it in shape and proportion. Any other eyelid design, imo, looks plain tacky and wierd. These still seem to match in with the rest of the car.. & dont stick out like dogs thingies.
