Well before as i got into my car to drive to a job i had to make a stop at autobahn... guess why?

I get into my car, shift out of first and go to start it and i hear this pop sound. I look around for about 5mins before starting, find nothing, so i go to leave. Jst about to drive out and notice my ****er is cracked. Its a monza, been on there for about a year and apparentlty it doesnt like sun.... at all. It had gotten so hot, that when i moved it, it jst cracked. In autobahn i showed the guy and all he had to say was "O'well, shame they dont come with a warranty :D " I could have hit him with it. I went out back to look at the rest of their stock and find sfa. Like they say, all good things come to an end. I really liked the feel of that shifter, shame no one sells them here now :( bl to me for living in cairns i rkn. Stock on for now, will get new one asap. Oh, WTS:Cracked Monza Shifter, post offers lol

Anyone ever had **** like this happen? Ie. Cracking Plastics from heat?

look at almost every 2nd gen lano's and elantra dash lol then u'll see the effects of the sun on plastic

I had a little plastic dog thing on my rear dash that would wobble its head as the car moved. I went to move it to a different spot and it crumbled into dust!!

Looking for a new gear knob, look on ebay, they have tons there and they'll post em out to you even in your remote location
