i forgot to mention that i got a new clutch as well and was lucky enough to be given a HG/HH manual galant GSR box. It needs some attention (apparently synrcos have gone and selector fork buggered) so when time and money permits ill rebuild it and chuck that in, should be an improvement over my box now as it whines in first and forth and the GSR is a stronger box

any news on the power this thing generates?
to be honest i have no idea obviously im hoping to have more power on dyno then before, thing was i took the car off the road for a year and it was a rush to get the motor done so i cant remember how it used to drive much, i can defiantly say it revs much harder and alot higher, its not hard to reach 6.5k now and from 3.5k on it will rev right up quickly but i have substituted a lot down low for it but it doesn’t really bother me, it feels like a whole different car now even sounds different hopefully i should see at least 100kwatw

Thanks for the good rap mate, hope all is still going well for you.

Did the pressure reg help with the bottom end?
no probs, as for the regulator it fixed up the surging in the morning and i found it helped it go better around 4-5.5 only prob now is it seems to flood if i floor it down low but if i back off the smallest bit its fine
check ya email mate sent one off to you not that long ago

Also me and bcx7 just finished making up my new shorten shifter

I didn’t have to paint it but I had a can of white paint that needed to be used up and I wanted to cover the primer. Only used primer to prolong rust on the welds

But for anyone thinking of making one up don’t let anything stop you im defiantly impressed with mine. I moved the shift point rufly an inch n quarter up as you cant really go up any higher as it comes up through the console then

any way thanks for the comments guys!!

what puta to run all the goodies?
stocko for now
i figure that a mate of a mate efi'd his sigma and ran very nuts cam (exceeded rpw spec) on stock gen1 ecu with no issues, he then changed it to turbo spec then ran a small ca18 turbo with little 2 no issues

had a few seedy problems to begin with but found the adjustable fuel regulator fixed em just runs a little rich in the morn and will puff black smoke if you floor it but i figure that has to do with our oxy sensors as they arnt hot wire, the second the cars warm it doesnt run rich

Some very nice work there, dedicated to the 1st Gen cause :)
thanks :)

as much as i didnt want to spend any more money on this car :bowrofl: next might be a VLT fuel pump as i can pick it up for cheap and i dont know how much longer the stock one will run at higher pressure

Wow man that's a really nice job on the inside there.. Looks quite classy! I especially like that job with seats and the roof lining. My roof lining really could do with a bit of a workup I think.. It's got black spots all over it now rofl

engine work was roughly 2k there was alot that didn't need doing such as a new head but i figured it might as well all be done while it was apart, left me with alot of spare parts now.

nice man, I don't think I'll want to do all of mine black, it wont go with the seats that well :(

I'll see after I've done the rest of the console.

Looking good though aye, ride height vs a stocko looks nice :D
