Hey guys,
Firstly i have a TJII exec which comes with an airbag standard.
I have purchased a ralliart steering wheel which i'll be getting tomorrow.
My question is, does anyone know the EXACT procedure in replacing an airbag steering wheel? I've heard in some cases of the airbag going off?
I've been told to disconnect the battery and wait 30mins - hour before even attempting it.
I've replaced steering wheels before, but it's this whole airbag thing that has me worried, what do you guys reckon? What would mits charge to swap it over for me?

Cheers for that mate!
So basically it's the same as any other steering wheel, but you need to make sure there's no charge in the airbag? Tops!

Ha!

my mechanic told me a funny story about a co worker of his who didnt dismantle it properly...
started work on it over lunch. they found him unconcious half falling out of the car after 20mins of looking for him when they got back. had gone off in his face but he wasnt hurt, just a little rattled.
