hey guys, just joined amc the other day, even though iv been searching through the forums for a while now!....just have a question regarding colour coding. Are the trims above the skirts replaced when they are colour coded or do they use the same ones? Also roughly what price would i be looking at for trims and skirts to be coded?? thanks

They are resprayed to match your car body colour. Price is around $700 for professional colour coding.

hmm so after searching abit more i found other threads where it cost people $200-$300 for a professional job?...

Yeah $300 sounds more like it but it depends where you get it done, and what you want done. Some people will just spray, others will sand everything back properly and bog up any bad spots, then once its all done match the car itself to the new paint. Clay bar etc.

There are lots of things to think about - Mirrors, Grille, Skirts, Door protectors (grey strips) Rear garnish, door handles and so on.
