Finally I have bought a flawless example of a TJ Sports. Most of you probably remember me from my countless WTB posts ;) but this buy brings the last 3 months of looking to a close. Specs of the car are: 2001 model with manual transmission and in black.

The seller was located 80kms outside of Sydney and since I live in Melbourne I have spent the long weekend on a train up and driving back with my new baby. I am happy to report it purrs like a kitten :D Future mods include bigger rims, tinting, and maybe lowering.

Thanks to AMC for all the help and advice! Im so happy to be a magna owner again after 3 months of patience (and blood, sweat and tears).

Nice work mate!! :D

Good on you for holding out until the right car came along.

BTW, isn't that train trip a tragedy? I got on at Albury, but it was still as totally boring and painful as Serena Williams' butt is huge.

I would just get the nice rims. Dont worry about the bigger wheels. :bowrofl:

Grats on the purchase buddy. Not easy to get these in manual

hehe yeah it takes a while on the train - the antics of a guy trying to dodge the 1 wine/hour rule made the time go quicker. Funny to see him try to talk back to a 7ft train guard - still don't know whether they kicked him off or not :D

Getting my baby serviced today so hopefully she will run even sweeter :D

From memory, the one in Dapto was going for about $10k with about 120k klms on the clock. 2002 model - don't think it had climate control.
