I'm looking at some new wheels. Will 19x8 rims with 245/35+/R19 rubber fit without problems to a 3rd Gen?

i dont think so.... the offset isnt great enough and the wheels will stick out too far, std is +46 offset, you might get away with it, but as soon as you lower it say goodbye to your guards

245 are a bit wide, they'll scrub all the time. Try 235/35ZR19.
According to wheel master, 35+ offset will cause the entire wheel/tyre to stick out 1"
further which is way too much, also, it'll be 4mm closer to the suspension components.
Best bet is to have 225/40R19 tyres on 19x8 wheels with 46+ offset which is the closest
match to overall diameter and also only sticks out 5mm either side.
235/40R19 tyres on 19x8 wheels with 46+ offset is ok too (sticks out 10mm either side)
But remember you are legally not allowed to change the track by more than 1" which also
means you can't change offset by more than 0.5".
Also, remember you need tyres with at least 95 load rating which means 235/35R19 are
out and you need to get 225/40R19 XL (extra loading) tyres. 235/40R19 tyres should be
fine.

Erm I don't think the OP has actually stated what offset the rims are, the +35 appears to be a typo for 35% tyre profile.
OP: If you really mean +35 offset, they will stick out. My rims are 35+ offset and just fit inside the guards, but they are 17x7". For an 8" wide rim you want something like +46 offset I think.

I'm running 245/35/19's on my car no problem
35 offset as the rims are "falcon" offset
superlow fronts low rears, had the car full with a full boot, the rears were basically in the gaurds, i drove from kalamunda (hills) to leeming, about a 30 minute drive. and didnt rub!

Good to hear mate. The rims I'm looking at are off a Falcon. Thanks.
