Hi there.......question, would it make a difference in peformance once i've done a carbie rebuild and a muffler upgrade? (*note* havn't done it yet but planning too)

coz my car struggles up hills even if i shifted my auto stick to gear 2.

My car is a 1986 TM Magna 1st Gen

ggeeesssh u really don't have a life hay!!! :D cos u answered your own question, and you already mentioned in other posts that u were going to do this cos your car neened it done. not having a go at u just pointing it out:bowrofl: :bowrofl: as for gain in power maybe a little like a kw or 2 but it will be more responsive and have better torqure , so i guess it will feel like it has more power when really it's just running how it's supposed to.

muffler will do nothing for gains... u need to re-do whole exhaust system with extractors for real gains.

you need to do alot of work fixin and bettering what you have before you pay 1k for a new exhaust and extractors and still get nuthin...

i know its ur car n u like it n all... same here with mine.. on green p's here too...

thing is... ive come to realise... they are magnas... if you want to get the best out of ur 1st gen best off askin people with them. Hope you get it runnin betta soon.

hehe sorry to go off topic but, today my dad asked me to save up 8k to buy his 2002 avalon of him reason is, because his lease via his work ends Feb 2008 :D man i can't wait to own his car.......so many modding plans :P
