hey everyone,

i bought my 99 magna xs tourer about 6 months ago and i dont know what an xs tourer is. does anyone here know what an xs tourer has that an executive (for example) doesnt have or vice versa. any input is appreciated.

S**T man i have never heard of a 99 magna xs tourer i have a 99 TH magna exec but i have never heard of one of those where does it say xs tourer on the body or in the engine bay..... but i would say there would not be a hell of a difference between the xs tourer and a Exec

Its an Executive with extras.

Like spoiler, 10 stack cd in the back, maybe cruize control.

And theres a weird XS colourful sticker on the bottom right hand side of the boot.

And I think it may have a special colour for that model.

yeh they are all dealer specials, not much diff as above maybe some extra luxuries but no difference in the engines

yeah ive seen a couple around, i thought at first the bloke i bought it off may have just put a sticker on it, until i saw like 4 xs tourers around. theres 3 xs tourer stickers on it, 1 on each front door at the botton and 1 on the rear, its seinna red aswell (regarding the colour). one thing im not sure about in regards to 3rd gens is if every 3rd gen has that display screen with options like, range to empty, fuel consumption over the last 100kms, speed alarm and other stuff. does every 3rd gen have that or is that just a upgrade option?

Not every 3rd gen has that only the VRX and i think the sports do not sure about that but 9i do know the vrx has that.

pretty much everything from TH magnas/veradas onwards have the trip computers.. nothin special..

this would just be a model that the dealers would have had built (probably with the year befores compliance or old stock that they wanted to move) ie: whack some wheels and a spoiler on it, give it a limited name and sell them on road, drive away..

would be similar to the 380 Limited Editions that they did and the 380 Platinum.. just get a few free extras so they can TRY to sell more of them..
