Hey peoples, i am thinking of de-winging the vrx, just wondering about the legalities of this cause it has the led stop light built into the wing.
Other models have the light at the top of the rear window and cause it came with the wing i assume they didnt happen to just leave the standard on in the roof lining lol

would i need to get one fitted? and if so anyone done it?

I know in NSW you need to have an eyelevel brake light (as it was standard).. so you would need to have one fitted to either the top or bottom of the window if you wanted to be completely undefectable.

I do know that people that have de-winged have been driving without this light for a long time...

Legally you must have a mid-mounted brake light, up the top or down the bottom, it's up to you.
It shouldn't be too hard to install one from a wreckers.

yep all cars post-1986 have to be fitted with a center mount brake light

shouldn't be to hard to pick up from the wreckers and then all you need is 2 meters of cable and 10 minutes
