Hey fellow First Genners..... it is time for me to bid you all a fond farewell (of sorts) as I have now traded in my TP wagon :cry: :cry: for a brand spanking new 380!

However I am not one to dis these beautiful chariots and I still think they rock! :cool:

I have been a loyal and faithful devotee to the TP and will not stand anyone saying a bad thing about it. I love my first gen. However I must move with the times and my maggie was aging fast.

And now you have a nice 380, should be a ball off fun!

I love the new car - but I was teary when I left the old girl behind. it makes me sad everytime i think about her....... thats really a bit lame but I did have the TP for 8 years and formed a bit of an attachment.......:cry: :cry:

Actually I struck a deal and got a 3000 trade for my TP. It was a slow sales month and they either gave me that much or I walked away. Just lucky it was that time of year.

Yeah I reckon it is, apparently they are sending her to auction. Wish I knew where I could prolly go and buy her back for under a thou. lol now that would be sweet lol

My brother-in-law worked at the scrap metal mob - they get all the cars that don't go above a $70 at auction. He said they crunch about a dozen 1st gens a week.

That's where I got mt TP. Bro-in-law pulled it off the crunch line, & I drove it 300km home.

So, sorry, Itsubish, but your beloved wagon will probably be shredded.
