Hello, I have a 93 KR Verada which has some issues with the central locking, as far as I know it’s the stock central locking that came with the car(or I assume so being it’s a Verada) now it comes with the remote to lock and unlock the car only the remote will only lock the car, you press the button again(single button) it does nothing, press it again and it trys to lock itself again, if you open the drivers side door with the key the immobiliser(only if it was locked with the remote) comes on and it only unlocks the drivers side door, however if you go around to the passenger side door and unlock it with the key it unlocks all doors.. you lock the passenger side with the key it locks all doors, it was all working when I got the car, but one day it needed shifting but I had the key with the remote, so when it was to be it was unlocked with the spare key, which of course put the immobiliser on so it couldn’t be moved, so they got the RACV out and he disconnected the immobiliser and left it all out in case it needed moving again, so I connected all the immobiliser back up and that all works, only since then has the central locking not been unlocking it was also not working before I put it all back together.. so I don’t think I screwed with this. I don’t know what’s wrong with it, I’m out of ideas so I put it to you guys to see if anyone can shed some light on it for me.

such **** can happen pures due to poor voltage supply... my alarm would go off when i about 15 secs after i locked the car, cleans the connections on the battery and all fine, ie check all your connections and ensure they're all clean
Holy wall of jumbled text batman!
I have tried to decipher your secret code..
Perhaps others can understand the below a little better.
Hello, I have a 93 KR Verada which has some issues with the central locking, as far as I know it’s the stock central locking that came with the car(or I assume so being it’s a Verada)
It comes with the remote to lock and unlock the car but only the remote will lock the car.
If you press the button again(single button) it does nothing, press it again and it tries to lock itself again.
If you open the drivers side door with the key the immobiliser(only if it was locked with the remote) comes on and it only unlocks the drivers side door. However if you go around to the passenger side door and unlock it with the key it unlocks all doors..
Lock the passenger side with the key it locks all doors.
It was all working when I first got the car, but one day it needed shifting. I had the key ring with the spare remote and key. When we unlocked it it put the immobiliser on so it couldn’t be moved. I got the RACV out and they disconnected the immobiliser and left disconnected in case it needed moving again.
I have connected the immobiliser back up since then and that all works.
The central locking has not been working even before i fixed the immobiliser so I don’t think I screwed with this.
I don’t know what’s wrong with it, I’m out of ideas so I put it to you guys to see if anyone can shed some light on it for me.

In the words of Duke Nukem: "Ah, I needed that."
I can see clearly now there are line breaks there, I only discovered I actually had central locking after I pulled my door skins off to install central locking. Just get an aftermarket kit put on, chances are your factory central locking mechanisms are screwed along with your remote, just buy a new set, $100 tops.
