had to make a post yesterday saying that ive never had a problem with my auto tp. so the gf goes to start it and it just keeps turning over but nothing happens. the battery is a yellow top optima which is 2 months old so i know it's not that, plus if i hold the key it will just keep turning over but won't fire into life. 2 weeks ago replaced all the fueses, last week i did an engine oil/filter change aswell as a fuel filter and air filter. haven't done any messing with the electric like putting in a cd player or anything.
but when i try to start it i get a single click sound just before it trys to fire, near the pasenger kick panel area, near the spot where there's a link to depressureize the fuel lines. a month ago i re-adjusted the tps and cleaned out the throtle body and checked the ilde speed but that was fine. don't know what else to look at:rant: it's got plenty of fuel. the gf did mention that yesterday while diriving around it cut out on her one time. for 1/2 a second then came back to life. so yesterday i had a look at it and found a hose fron the plenum disconected so i put it back on and the connection to the air box was off so i put it back on. also the spark plugs, leads, coil, dizzy cap and rotor button has been changed in the last 4 weeks . so right now im stumpede what it could be any sugestions pls let me know. the last resort will be to call racq but only want to do that as a last resort. gotta luv monday mornings:D

Ya only need spark fuel and compression to go smooovy.
Check to make sure theres fuel getting thru (and youve got some lol )
Take off a lead and check for spark

Other than that maybe its timing (but it would hafta be miles out) or computy trubs.

Sorry I cant be more help but its easier when I can be there at the car.:)

got fuel and spark and compression so maybe the computer has packed it in , don't think the timing is out seeing as it was going yesterday. maybe thats what the click sound is (control realy ****ting it self:redface: ?) first time it's made that sound so yea i dunno. i hate monday mornings:D to top it off it's pouring down soo hard out there i don't want to open the hood incase something gets wet a stuff it even more.

cheers dude. unplugged it and had a look but seemed to be fine. no corrosion or water in there. keep up the suggestions:D

dennystone ur a legend. GOT I GOING yeehaa. the dizzy plug looked fine but i figured i might as well give it a light sand , a spray with wd-40 and then clean it dry. jumped back in and it started but now has a low idle. 650 rpm-750rpm where normally it's 950rpm-1100 rpm. so to start it i have to hold the revs at 1000rpm for a fec secs or it feels like it gonna stall when i start to lift the foot. but once warn it sits on 800rpm. bit strange but aleast it's going.
