After reading the exhaust section on the 3rd Gen FAQ, it seems that for a VRX/Sports, spending money on exhaust will not result in an increase in power or better acceleration. Please correct me if i'm wrong

I currrently have the stock exhaust setup in my VRX and since i have some spare cash, i was looking at some of the things i can do to gain a couple of Kw's or better throttle response.

Anyone has any ideas on what i can do? My budget is about $400 but can be stretched if any ideas sound interesting.

Also, not interested in a CAI.

You could try one of Barrys kits and still have money left over. Or even a panel filter..

:stoopid: thats the best you are gonna get......extractors 550 fitted panel 100ish. you really have to save up to spend on doing more mods for decent gains in a magna. Def dont waste youre money on zorst. I did extractors first and cat back later with the latter proving to be little worthwhile over the factory system. May be of some use with the recent additions of cams etc but like i said $$$$$$$ start adding up

The VRX & Ralliart exhaust systems are already very free flowing. Any decent exhaust shop should know that and recommend you do extractors before touching the exhaust and only do so if you start playing with internals or go with forced induction. Set of RPW will see some gains.

But honestly id leave that til later, spend $250 or so and get Barry's 3 kits (Gasktes, Fuel Rail and Grounding) and a K&N panel filter and you should notice an improvement.

Hey is that the same for the TH sports cause i was told that a straight through muffler would increase 10KW
