.....
how have owners found the seat bolsters in 380 SX/VRX/GT's ? the seat cushion part where it rubs when u get in and out. do u think they might wear out quickly especially in leather? thanks.
My old KS had velour trim seats with high bolsters and after 10 years, its still in reasonable
condition. My current car has leather seats with bolsters and hasn't shown any signs of
wear after 18 months. Like any leather, condition it regularly and it'll last a long time.
thanks vlad, I assume ur talking about the bolsters on the back rest? I know these get some light rubbing getting in and out, but the 380 sports seats the seat base really take a beating. im thinking of ordering a new base cause they dont look like theyll last.
No, I'm talking about the seat cushion, not the base, have a look at my sig.

I have a DB Series 2 VRX and have noticed that the seat bolsters do sit up higher, which I like when compared to the Verada seats. I noted over the last few days that I do not really come in to much contact with the bolster when getting in or out of the car. My left leg and thigh hits the middle of the seat and then my right leg is lifted over the bolster to take up my driving position. The only time I notice contact with the bolster is if I sit on the edge of the seat with my feet outside the car and I find this uncomfortable to degree as the bolster is so stiff under the thigh and backside. After seven months of daily use I have no visible wear on my leather driver's seal. Cheers...

If the leather does wear away, and the vehicle has low klms, then it's a warranty issue.
It's called " premature wear ".
The earlier 380's did have problems with the foam section crushing, meaning a flat ride on your ass while your driving, and the trims did suffer from getting a wrinkled appearance!
These concerns should be brought up with your Mitsu dealer.
