I have been browsing the forums for a number of months and have finally purchased a car (and decided to post :P)!
Its a Black 2003 KJII GTVi done 58000kms
Picked it up at auction for $14700.
Full service history / log books.
It was actually owned by the police force (under cover car apparently!)
I was originally looking for a KW VRX / GTVI, but this one appeared!
Im not planning on doing many mods,
If I do it will be installing a carputer inside + new speaker system.
Here are a couple pics......
Sorry for the about the high brightness, Very bright day and very shiny car :D

Good buy.
Not so good that you can buy the top of the line Magna from that year for what you got it for though. Poor resale :(

Red plates complement the tail lights very nicely too.
Tint, big rims, lowering = pimpin!

Car looks great.
How did you know it was owned by the Popo? In the books?
I found a old registration certificate in the glove box when I bought it.
A person at the auction place said it was owned by someone higher up in the force. (More important than being able to get a falcodore :P)
Its in very good condition, paint work is great, front leather seats are a bit faded, suggesting it has been out of the sun for most of its life.
Seats are gradually coming better with lots of Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner & Conditioner :P

Nice ride man! Very envious of your new car. I picked up a 01 Verada last week for $14,500 and done 76,000kms and its not as nice as yours. :D

just keep the conditioner up to them..
theres a leather conditioner that you can buy in a yellow bottle from places that sell horse stuff, have NFI what its called coz our bottle at work had the label ripped off it.. its brilliant stuff..
failing that, they have oakwood leather conditioner, thats my next favourite..
looks sweet tho

Very nice mate! By far my favourite magna interior (which i'm keeping my eye out for at the moment).
As for making them darker, goto any autobarn/supercheap store and get some leather conditioner, that'll bring it up nicely :).

The car first came out as a GTV which came out with a spoiler and a GPS. After a fight with Alpha over the GTV name Mitsu changed to GTVi. Spoiler and GPS were an optional extra in the GTVi. And yeap it has the same sexy Illuminated speedo cluster.

thats weird the leather almost looks silver grey. is that how it looks in real life or is it the camera. is the back seat the same? I use autoglym leather stuff, its factory approved for aston martin, jaguar and maclaren!

some of the lightness of the seats is the flash, the rest is old age. Same pic with gamma reduced, to dull the flash. :D

It looks Identical to my interior and the seats aren't actually jet black they're like 1 or 2 shades lighter.
Where do you buy that autoglym from? supercheap?

And our good friend has a solution for the leather colour.
the leather *should* get darker over time if you keep using the leather conditioner, wasnt really saying that it a solution as such..
I used this stuff in the yellow bottle for the first time the other day (have seen it used a few times) and its a real oily type liquid.. it made the seats very greasy at first when i put it on, but you could actually see it soaking into the leather, and it was back to a nice dull/matt finish - the way leather should be..
once leather is completley dried out though there isnt a great deal of hope.. all you can do is try by smothering it with this conditioner time and time again as soon as it has soaked in..
leather is great in cars if it is looked after properly from the start, once it starts to deteriorate - then it spoils the look of the car's interior.. :doubt:

Congrats, the price is making me feel ill tho, was thinking of selling mine but I cant see the point now, with the depreciation I reckon I'll be driving it till I'm sixty. Still there are worse cars...lots of them.
