Does anyone know where the outside temp sensor is :?: It doesnt seem to be very accurate, normally +3ish degree.

why exactly does this matter? and why are you standing outside with a thermometre checking? dont you guys have anything better to do! LOL! (yeah coz ive got such a busy life! im the second biggest loser bum on here!)
seeing you have a clone of my vehicle there :P
yes it does seem that the guage is a few degrees hotter when your in the drive way or sitting there but you get that from engine heat radiating towards the sensor once you start moving mine seems to be almost spot on and ive checked it with those clock/temp sensors that some companies have on their buildings because i drive past 2 prity often.
remember wind chill factor can effect the sensor .
i think the problem with the interior sensor is that its open to dash heat so the aircon thinks its hot and in reality its bloody freezing in the car.

My KR XI has the same problems with both interior heat sensors. One is onthe roof just behind the sunroof, it get affected by heat inside the roof lining which is increased by the heat caused by the glass. The other is also on the dash and is covered by the dash mat.

see - i don't need a little gadget to tell me if it is hot or not - i tend to feel the temperature myself ;)
If it is hot i wind the window down - if that is hotter - i put the aircon on - easy as that!!
(oh and it means less things can break and go wrong ;))

well im sure if the sensor breaks i can grab a new one and with the kewl workshop manual can fit it myself.
btw has anyone thought of hosting that workshop manual so we can refer to certain pages and then people can just download the specific doc.
its not just 1 pdf file it is many little ones.

CYPHER,
