I know it doesn't answer your question properly, but when i converted my friends TM Elite to EFI i had to play around with the soldering iron to change the plug on the harness under the dash. Most of the wires were there, but the plug itself was different.
You will also need to replace the speedo cable a pulse generator. This just bolts straight in though.

just letting every1 know i got the dash and pulse generator now all i need is some wiring diagrams and i'll be set. HINT HINT!!!
If some1 has the wiring diagrams from a TN Elite and a TP GLX i would be very grateful. i just need the dash section.

muhhahahaha it takes a lot of playing with wiring and finding a dash and a wiring loom with the pulse generator. i got the dash, pulse generator and the wiring loom off hadyn (TButcher). then i went to the library and got the wiring diagrams. then i just bared some wire on each of the wires in the dash for the analogue 1 and attached a piece of wire with a bullet connector. the pulse generator is simply a matter of unscrewing the old speedo sender on the gearbox and screwing on the PG and pushing the wires thru the firewall. next u use the wiring loom and find the 3 plugs for the dash cut these off and attach the other part of the bullet connector to each wire, then pretty much just match up colours (but check the wiring diagrams. at the moment i still haven't got the clock working right (it doesn't reset but it doesn't keep going when the cars turned off ie. turn car off at 5:46pm, when car starts clock says 5:46pm, i think thats just a constant power problem) and the digital tripmeter keeps reseting (think that is constant power problem 2).
in all it took me bout 10hours but i tested each wire to check the wiring diagrams and i wanted to make it so i could put the analogue dash back in later if need be.
Definately worth it for the WOW factor. picked some mates up the other night and their like "HOLY SH!T, thats insane!!!" or people drive along and see it and make comments like "nice dash" as they go past. and its easier to get photos of high speed runs cuz the needle aint bouncing hehehe :D
any1 planning on this mod... i'm more than happy to help where i can, but u wont find it a cheap 1, i was lucky hadyn wanted to get rid of all the stuff he had and i got it all VERY VERY cheap. (hadyn if ur reading... u said the price i just agreed :D cheers dude)
and now for some pics. i'll take the camera out with me 2nite and get some night shoots of it and maybe even a movie of some sort

dat looks great how did u go wit ur odometer and how do u go wit ur taco know being different u know, is it harder to notice.
oh and how come theres no light 4 the petrol
yer sum nite pics would be great
AdAm
First of all you need to buy some petrol, Second of all i hate you, and third, how much it cost you for parts?
Is the wire loom big and hard to get out of an elite? is it majorly intergrated?
I want, but man i think thats alot of trouble to go to.

ok...
the tacho is madness  . the work car is a toyota echo which has a digital dash so i'm used to driving with them. the speedo is very different, it is extremely EASY to speed with it, u never realise just how bad speed creep is until u use a digital speedo. odometer is nothing, u just have a different reading to what the car really has on it (mine had already had the dash replaced anyway so i didnt care) u just record what was on the old odometer and what was on the new 1 when u put it in.
there is no light for the petrol because it is 1 of the issues i'm still working on, i think i have a short in the wires some where.
As for nite pics, i'll get a movie of my run up the local mountain 2morrow nite. for those interested search the forums for mount archer to find out bout the freaky shit thats gone on up there.
next set of questions...
that pic was taken with just under a full tank of fuel see above.
u can hate me.. cuz i love my digital dash :p :p :p
it ended up costing me $40 for half a tralier of bits and pieces including the dash, a wiring loom, a bonnet, wiper arms, a few interior plastic bits, a washer bottle and god knows... whatever else haydn threw at me. then $20 for bullet connectors and heat shrink tubing.
the wiring loom is a ball of wires bout half a metre round, it is all the main wiring out of the car, a real head f&*k to sort out if its tangled up. u only really need the 3 plugs for the dash and the pulse generator.
it is awesome (or will be when the little bugs are sorted out) and i think it was more than worth it.
stay tuned for some nice nite shots and movies.

id pay up to $150, if someone got me an electronic dash, and rewired it so i can pretty much just plug it in, and of course instructions if i need any soldering that i'd need to do to my car so it works!!
First, this thread is ancient. Second, you only need to post in one thread, and there a few threads titled "Digital Dash howto" would have bought up what you're looking for
Posted a reply in other threads, but get either BCX7 or me on Messenger if you need a hand.
