Alright guys, I'm trying to get this damned little panel off, it should'nt be that hard but its kicking my ****. Someone let me know how to either A) get the whole damn lot out or B) get out the blanks. Pic so you know what i mean. (It's where my dash light dimmer is)

I think the son-of-a just pops out with a bit of help from a flat blade screwdriver...

not 100% on that though.

i'm not being a smart ****, but the factory manual calls it the Instrument Panel Side Switch, however, the manual tells you to remove it, but not how to remove it. Can you get to the bottom of the switch by going through the small storage compartment underneath the switch?

Edit: Sorry Nick, You already new the correct name. I'm a dumb ***.

No

You can't. The coin box is there, i had a look in my haynes just then n it appears (from the picture) that once the lower dash is removed that you can infact reach up to it. I'm gonna try it when I'm not so energyless.

Yeah I've taken the bottom panel off, I can't seem to get my fat **** in the footwell to see behind well enough to see where to unclip them though, I'm sure that's how they are removed but from my best efforts I still cannot see how it is done so it'd be much easier to just remove the whole panel rather than blank by blank.

By the way - Thanks for replying guys! I didn't think anyone would!!

Its just a clip and it pops out i know cos i put my alarm flashing light there.

Be careful tho i was paranoid of breaking it and it flexed quite a bit while i was getting it out

EDIT***

actually i think just remove the coin box bottem cover and just push it out from the inside i think....

So i just press on the outside of the panel (not the button blank) from EITHER side and it comes out?!

Remove some of the lower trim so you can get a hand in behind it to apply force to it.. then with your free hand, lever the screw driver at the same time. Should work.
