Anyone know what tranny fluid i need and roughly how much to refill an auto?

Pretty sure its Castol TQM-ST or Penrite MHP.....if you go to supercheap there will be reference books in that aisle you can look at.

TQM-ST is like $48 for 5L roughly tis expensive shiat

The total capacity is 7.5L; though if you're only doing a flush/refil, you'll only be able to drain about 5.5-6.5L from the sump and diff.

Refill with Mitsubishi fluid. Its no dearer and is really the only correct fluid. I'd start with a 5L bottle and then see if it needs more.

You'll probably actually find that its made by a mainstream oil company for mitsu.

& yeh starting with a 5l is good, but i can garuntee you'll need more.

well im actually putting a new auto in....so ill need a fair amount of it. its getting done today so ill have to go to supercheap or autobarn to get it

Nice.. yeh 7.5L it is then mate.

I think the best quality fluid out of the bunch is probably the castrol tqm.

doesn't matter... it's $25 for 5 litres! you can buy 10l and it's still cheaper than supercrap auto

Oh ok... didnt realise it was that cheap. Something made me think that the dealership overcharged for that stuff... but yeh if its that cheap then why not.

i ended up getting penrite from autobarn.... $30ish for 4 litres. castrol was $50 for 4litres

got the tranny replaced on sunday, and seems fine.

no idea how he swapped them over in under 3hours!

nice smooth shifting now anyways. thanks for all the help guys!
