I've got an auto TJ VRX, just wondering if anyone knows roughly what it will cost to get it changed to manual?

$1500 odd

is that installation aswell? or just the cost of the transmission? $1500 isnt too bad.

I got mine done for $1100 for everything.

Maybe all these manual conversions has pushed the price of 5spd boxes up......... I couldn't even find a 2nd hand gearbox for less than $1100 a month ago.

I was qouted $2k - $2.5k this was in Cairns though and things are harder to come by/mechanics dumber up here ect.
I decided im still going to do it though :)

I paid about $1600 including delivery for the whole convertion kit. Another $1100 for labour and mod plate, and $600 for HD clutch

So, Im looking from about $1100 to $3000 for the whole thing.

With tax time coming up, I might just go for it. Thanks guys
