Next time you get hit take a Picture before you send it for repairs.
Nothing much you can do. Unless you got witnesses and willing to bring this up to court. Waste of time and money as I would buy a new nuffler.

Tough luck man :flame:
Nexus is right. Taking pictures helps. This happened to a friend of mine and he took pics then showed them to the repairers and the fixed it all up for him.

Not sure if it was a private job or insurance job. If it was an insurance job take it up with them. If they have authorised a new bar thats what should have gone on it.
If it was a private job take it up with the office of fair trading...

Definetly get onto your insurance co about it. If they authorised a new bar that what should be on it. In regards to defects to the paint work this should be sorted as well. If the panel shop is ripping the insurance co it means less work or no work for them in the future if the insurance co hear about it. Work with your insurance co after all you paid them your premium and they authorised the repairs. In other words let them fight your battle.

Complain to the insurance company, get them to hassle the repair company. At the end of the day your the consumer, and its your money. This is why we pay for insurance, just like anything in retail etc "we want to get what we paid for"
Ring your insurance and explain to them, tell them to send it to a different repairer if possible.
Good luck with it.

Sounds like u got a rough deal there mate. As others have said let your insurance agency know along with pics and they should handle it very quickly.
Good luck.

They probably let the trainee practise on it. No offense to any up and coming paint stars.
