hey all, was doing routien radiator top up etc...when the tube going from radiator to overflow snapped at the base of the radiator cap. so now ive only got about 1mm of solid tube to plug the hose onto!

any ideas on this? would i be able to just glue the broken piece back onto the radiator?

doubt glue will work, mmm maybr try cable tieing the hose to the radiator or maybe glue the hose to the radiator

If the overflow tube broke, chances are the radiator is about stuffed.
Check the tube for the top and bottom hoses, by giving a twist and pull about.
Recently happened to me, radiator was old but functioning perfectly but the top hose tube snapped, if it had happened while driving...........cooked motor
