The Vr-x kit is a bolt on extension for your original bar. So is the ground effects/sports body kit.
The only factory kit for a pre - TL that replaces the whole bumper is the ralliart kit.

what about with the front though cause where all the air/holes are in the front it would seem that if u bolted it over the front it would look see though uif u know wat im trying to say cause yeah on an origional vrx it looks see through on the front bar im assuming it would look lower awell seeing that on the rear bar there is a grove for an excust tip

The standard magna exhaust has a droopy twin-tips which does not require a hole cut in
the rear bumper. Correct me if I'm wrong but both the front and rear VRX plastic bars are
the same height as those on a standard magna but the whole car has been lowered 10mm
or so.

You can't buy a "full kit" unless you buy the vr-x front already on a bar (which will look identical to putting the extension on your bar. I have never seen the vr-x kit sold this way as it's pointless. It comes as an extension, thats it :).
For the rear bar if you wanted the straight muffler tip like you see on a vrx, the stock rear bar needs to be cut to the shape of the vr-x extension exhaust hole.

All VRXs are the extension kits - their technically a full body skirt.
The front bar will look fine as you take off the current horzontal grill garnish on your standard bar when you put the VRX front skirt on.
The only thing you will have to do is to get a section of your rear bar cut off around the exhaust, and have your exhaust tips cut off and re-welded for a straight through tip.

gettin the front bar 'properly' on is tricky. Mitsubishi use alot of position holes to keep the vrx front skirt on. But you can put it on without having to drill these position holes into your front bumper.
basically it just slides on once the black trimming is removed, there are two little knob things on the ends of the skirts (if u ever buy one you will see it) but the can be filed down.
then its just drilling some holes and screwing it on in various places. As long as you make sure the kit is on tight when u start making holes, it should all line up nicely.
i did mine myself with the help of a couple of friends. and worked out great
