Hey guys,
I just got a grounds effect kit put on my tj magna. It looks good but there is a small gap between the rear skirt and the standard bar that is quite noticeable on both sides. The installer said this always happens with the grounds effect kit. Any ideas if this is true?

post up a pic of your rear bar
from what i know you have to modify the clips ot fit the rear pods on a sedan.

I got the last kit from mitsu about 6 months ago. had to get it shiped from QLD to WA
i sold it on to TJ02 (Mikey) and yeah theres a gap on both pods, sounds the same as what you have.
As for getting a kit. you'd have to find one 2nd hand as i was told it was the last one in Australia when i ordered it

Yeh I noticed this with my kit, the front and side of the kit fits perfectly but the rear pods are extremely annoying to fit, we managed to close the gap up quite a lot but it took a lot of time and patience... I'll try to get a pic for you...
and as far as Im aware the ground effects kit is now obsolete...

plus the pods are made for the wagons which as a different bar to a sedan so it will need minor modifications to fit.

The one I bought was definitely genuine... even the installer was surprised to see it. BTW i'm cant put up pictures jsut yet. I have just found a nasty big scratch on the front bumper and I won't take pictures untill it is repaired. Some nice fellow must have backed into me.
Hoping to get it fixed over the next few days.

Looks good except for the VR-X badges - It's not quite a VR-X.
